I’m looking out the window wondering if we are going to get an ice buildup on the branches. The temperature is hovering just above freezing which is a bad sign. Looking back on photos taken on this day, I realize that winter is still very much with us. It will be a few more weeks till I see something bloom.

Mar 2, 2019 -Look what I saw at the Green Center

This date fell on a Saturday and I was working at the Green Center. Someone brought in a VR headset for an iPhone. I gave it a try with a stereoscopic photo from the historical society. A blend of technology from two different centuries. The photo is the original Appleton Academy in New Ipswich, NH.

Mar 2, 2019 – Morning flight

After my stint at the Green Center I headed out for lunch, but stopped at Water Loom pond to watch someone flying a RC model airplane. Unlike drones, these seem to be rather challenging to fly.

March 2, 2019 – Dalia’s

I’ve posted that we need a coffee shop . In 2019 you could get a nice bowl of Portuguese soup at Dalia’s in Greenville, just a short drive away. Sadly it couldn’t remain open.

March 2, 2008 – Lots of snow

There was a lot of snow on the ground on this day in 2008. I was visiting my mother in New Boston, NH. My nephew took her for a ride in his jacked-up jeep.

Mar 2, 2007

There was snow on this day in 2007 but it didn’t deter us from taking a walk across the dam. Seemed like a blizzard when we did it. I followed behind John Weber and “Bud” the dog.

The wind wasn’t too bad in the wooded part of our walk.

Website Tweaks

I am aware that this website is clunky and takes a while to load. Some of that is due to having images hosted on Flickr instead of natively. I eliminated a number of plugins which “may” be slowing it down as well as enabling caching. Hopefully that will speed things up. Thanks for being a reader/subscriber.
