I participate in a photography challenge on Spoutible, a social media site, A hashtagged theme is posted each day from the account of Daily Picture Theme which describes itself as “The Big Photo Album of Our Community.” The theme for today is #Suit. The featured photo on this posting is that of my sister and her friend in bunny suits. It was taken years ago when they dressed up for my kids on Easter Sunday.

Nobody wore a Nomex suit better than Harry Cotterly in his performances as his alter-ego PYROMAN. In one of his perfomances, he did get slightly burned but he was a professional and the show did go on.

My sister and I suit up in our PPE to visit our mother who is in COVID isolation at Catholic Medical Center

My mother contracted a non-symptomatic case of COVID in October 2022. My sister and I suited up in protective gear to visit with her. I found it difficult to breath with the double masking. I have great respect for what the health care professionals had to do during that horrible time.

I’ve created a Behance Project for my “theme” photos. Behance is a service for creative works and is included as part of my Adobe subscription. Since I pay for the subscription it makes sense to use the tools. I’ll include a link to my Themes Project. Like everything else in my life this is work-in-progress and will never be completed. On This Day – May 6th (2023)

These photos were taken last year. When I saw how many violets were growing in the yard I decided it was going to be another NO-MOW May. They are a bit later this year but it should be a promising crop.
