Daily Picture Theme – Restore

Restored 1922 Model T "Depot Hack" formerly owned by LR Willard, New Ipswich, NH

I participate in a daily photo challenge on the social media site Spoutible. Everyday there is a different theme announced. Follow Daily Picture Theme on Spoutible to see the many examples of how a theme is represented.

RESTORE was the picture theme earlier this week. A few ideas came to mind, but it reminded me of a post I did in October 2018. I had received some photos and correspondence about a RESTORATION project for a Model T Depot Hack that was owned by Leonard Willard, the town photographer, chicken farmer and painter.

Restoring Power

We still talk about ice storm of 2008. It took us 14 days to restore power. That was a joyous day.

Restoring Gravestones

Kim Black and Carl Toko have been restoring gravestones in the town cemeteries. They use a biological cleaner called D2. It brings out the brilliance of the original limestone.
