On this day, after our Tai Chi class, I enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the Friendship Hall in Temple, NH. There always is a great selection of dishes prepared by the local folks. Peggy Cournoyer hosts these with her typical high level of enthusiasm. It was well attended and a great kickoff for the Christmas Holiday.
Choring Around
This last week I have been cleaning the house for the holidays, Today I took on the most unpleasant room of all, the bathroom. I learned a few cleaning tricks by watching some YouTube videos. They have a YouTube video for every aspect of our lives. The toilet was a challenge but using a combination of scotch-brite scrubbers and Bartenders Friend powder the bowl now glistens. There are a lot of “no touch” wand things and squirt bottles but they are useless in my estimation. One needs to put on gloves and put some labor into it. The task is further complicated by our well water which contains a high level of iron.

I participate in a daily picture challenge on the social media site Spoutible. Everyday there is a different subject announced as a Daily Picture Theme. I select an appropriate photo from my collection to share. I decided to share some photos of Pickity Place, a circa-1786 cottage & garden of Little Red Riding Hood fame.
