After visiting the Owls Head lighthouse I took a drive to check out the beach at Birch Point State Park. Since the park wouldn’t be open until Memorial Day, I made the short hike from the gate, I was serenaded by two Barred owls that I could hear calling to each other. It is a beautiful rustic place.

Covid

As I walked along listening to the owls, I reminded that we are still living with the threat of Covid when I saw this sign.

Low Tide

I can imagine it would be nice to sit on this flat rock surface and soak your feet at high tide.

I must be in Maine

I was constantly reminded that Maine has lobsters. This was a photo opportunity that I could not pass up.
