I was amazed at the number of photos that I had taken on the third day of October. This is just a subset of a larger group.
Fall is in the air. The leaves are changing color, the hummingbirds have left and the wild asters are in bloom. A look back at photos taken on this day.
One of the best features of digital photography is having a reliable date stamp. This lends itself to creating a post such as this with the theme “On This Day”.

What I enjoy about coastal locations is the opportunity to to watch the sun rise (or set) on the water. During a visit to Rockland, Maine I was able to do that.
