Qanon Doomsday – April 2022

I get mail

I usually throw political postcards into the paper recycling box. At first I thought that this was  just another request for a political donation. Later that day my friends were mentioning that they got this strange postcard about Qanon.  It predicted the end of the world or the end of the author.

The EXACT date for DOOMSDAY (Not!)

The first thing I did was search for Marburg research UTMB as my correspondent had suggested. I learned a bit that Marburg was in the same family as Ebola. What this had to do with Qanon, I had no clue.

Two dates were give for the end of the world 4/22/22 or 4/15/22. I figure if we make it past tax day (4/15/22), we get a full week to make final preparations.

The postcard contained a QR code to a .png image file. I had to find out about that. Normally I would be wary about clicking a QR code. But these are dire times, The world is going to end in either one or two weeks.

Pure Gibberish, Qanon Gibberish

This is my second end-of-the-world letter. The first was sent to me from my aunt years ago before the internet. I may have to write about that in the future. Thankfully the world didn’t end but here we are again. I clicked on the QR code and saw this ridiculously dimensioned PNG file. It was 1275 pixels wide by a whopping 29718 pixel length. It was a skinny twig that one had to magnify over and over again.

I have magnified the skinny photo and taken a screen shot of the first three paragraphs. That is all you need to get the gist of the rest of it.

Everyone gets mentioned in this diatribe, Hillary, Jeff Bezos, Donald Trump, Bill Gates, Zuckerberg and of course Putin.
