Look What I Saw at the Green Center

Cat Head Squirrel Feeder

When I arrived at the Green Center I was pleasantly surprised to see my name on a cubby-hole. Thanks to whoever did this. Now I have a place for my yoga blocks.

My Own Cubbyhole

Most of the time I am the only one taking photos at the Green Center. However on this Saturday I met a Keene State student who chose to do a photojournalism project on thrift stores. We are the ultimate thrift store because our products are free.

A nice doggie coat arrived just as the weather is getting colder.

Some dogs eat too quickly. Two dishes were donated that are designed to solve that problem. However someone mentioned that her dog just flipped them over. I see them as works of abstract art.

Keeping with an animal theme, we now have a cross-eyed cat cookie jar.

Green Center Serendipity

We see it all the time. Someone comes to the Center looking for something and manages to find exactly what they need. On this Saturday a patron asked if we had golf clubs. He specifically asked about LEFT-handed golf clubs. Just as I was explaining that we didn’t accept them at the Center someone arrived with an armful of clubs. Amazingly it was a left-handed set.
