Every four years we get an influx of folks running for President. They show up at coffee shops, town halls and house parties. They come to New Hampshire because we have the first primary in the country. I make an effort to attend these events knowing that I might get the opportunity to shake the hand of the next President of the United States.
I went with a friend to see Senator Kamala Harris at Keene State College. It took some time to find the venue on the campus. My friend asked a maintenance worker for directions which lead to a diatribe “Send that Socialist woman back to California”. I decided to depend on my Smart phone for directions after that incident. The place was packed and we were shuttled into an overflow area. However, Senator Harris did visit the overflow area and I was able to get this great photo of the back of some guys head.
I felt I was back in the 2016 election when I saw a guy carrying a “Lock Her Up” sign.
Lock Her Up?
I asked why he wanted to lock up Kamala and discovered that the sign was meant for Hillary Clinton, Oddly he was not a Trump supporter. He produced a printed pamphlet outlining the many financial ties of the Clinton Foundation along with quotes from Howard Zinn and Jill Stein. I felt a bit sorry for him, a protester that was late to the party.
