Blog Update

There is only thing more miserable than standing in a cold drizzle. That would be accessing my blog on a mobile device with a slow connection. I am taking some steps to speed things up a bit. For instance smaller image sizes with a tad more compression.

I’m doing this after learning that the majority of my readers are viewing my blog on a mobile device instead of a desktop. There is no reason to load huge files anymore.

Website Update

Google finally implemented a “carousel” feature for their website product. I have been waiting for a way to display my photos in a slideshow. They have done a nice job. It works nicely on both mobile and desktop devices.
