On Saturday, November 10, 2018 the Monadnock Center for History and Culture hosted a demonstration of open hearth cooking at the Phoenix Mill House in Peterborough, NH.
Volunteers prepare a delicious meal of carrot soup, pork and apple pie, Marlborough Pudding and Quaker plum pudding with sweet sauce. The food was served with bread baked in a beehive oven and freshly pressed apple cider.
