The Daily Picture Theme is #Press
I participate in a photography challenge on Spoutible, a social media site, A hashtagged theme is posted each day from the account of Daily Picture Theme which describes itself as “The Big Photo Album of Our Community.” The picture theme for April 12th is #Press. I chose a photo taken at a cider PRESS party in New Ipswich for my featured photo.
Another photo that came to mind was one I took at Amazing Flower Farm during a rewrapping of a greenhouse. One volunteer PRESSED her face against the plastic.
Freedom of the Press
Besides cider making and faces, the “press” refers to the fourth estate. The first photo is a mural painted by the “Wall Dogs” in Keene, NH. The second is a cameraman covering a campaign stop of Joe Biden in Nashua, NH.
On This Day – April 12th (2022)
April showers bring May flowers, but there were plenty of April flowers to enjoy. These are some of the early ones. I appreciate these the most after months of winter.
