When we vacation on Cape Cod we always spend at least one day at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.  It has some wonderful trails and a boardwalk on the salt marsh. It is managed by the Massachusetts Audubon Society whose volunteers have set up spotting scopes to view some of the birds feeding on the pond. When we arrived a pair of egrets were resting on a rock.
