The Daily Picture Theme – #Spoon

I participate in a daily photo challenge on the social media site Spoutible. Each day a different photo theme is listed and users upload a photo that best represents the theme. Sometimes it can be challenging to find a single photo for a theme but usually I have several candidates. Rather than make multiple postings I decided to create a single posting with a gallery of photos.

Spoon out of the blue

One day in 2023 I received a package which contained an attractive wooden spoon with a note stating it was a “spoon out of the blue”. It was crafted by my friend Paul Willis who enjoys making wooden spoons out of nice pieces of firewood. He sends these out randomly and they literally appear “out of the blue”.

A few years later I had the opportunity to see his workshop where they are crafted.
