There were nationwide demonstrations across the nation to uphold the constitution a protest the policies of executive overreach. I attended one in Townsend, MA on the town common.

The demonstrators received a lot of encouraging beeps from the passing cars which seems to indicate that there might be a growing unease with the direction that Donald Trump and his minions are leading our nation. I had some great conversations with the folks in attendance but was concerned that these demonstrations are not getting covered by the press. This was just a small event, but these were happening all over the country. I took some photos.

250th Year Lantern Anniversary

April 19, 2025 is also the 250th anniversary of the ride of Paul Revere, Heather Cox Richardson gave this talk at the Old North Church about that historic event. I learned of this from one of the demonstrators.
