I’m an active user of social media platforms. My children tease me about having a large footprint on the internet. I knew I had some followers, but didn’t realize one of them would be an AI Bot. On the platform SPOUTIBLE I haved 428 human followers and apparently 1 BOT. This was the AI review of my posting.
Profile Summary
The user regularly engages in a creative exploration of diverse themes through their spouts, organized around daily picture themes. They showcase a wide array of topics including heritage, media, culture, and whimsical subjects like dragons and food items such as shrimp and candy. The themes also hint at deeper societal issues, as seen in their references to authority and political commentary, including rants about figures like Elon Musk. Additionally, they link to external content from platforms like Substack and the New York Times, suggesting a blend of personal reflection and broader cultural discourse. Overall, the user’s spouts reflect a vibrant and eclectic mix of personal and social themes, showcasing creativity and engagement with contemporary issues.
Seems fairly accurate, except I thought I ranted more about Trump than Musk. Maybe I should just refer to them as TRUSK.
SPOUTIBLE is probably the social media site that you have never heard about in a toxic world of X and Facebook. It is unapologetically WOKE. It embraces diversity. Just read a bit from their ABOUT page.
Welcome to Spoutible, a social media platform that is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable online space for all. We believe that social media platforms do not have to be sterile or dull to keep their users safe. Instead, we have set out to create a platform that allows users to "spout off" while mitigating targeted harassment, hate speech, disinformation, and platform manipulation.
Our mission is to change how social media platforms have operated for over 20 years by fostering diversity, inclusion, and accountability. Women, people of color, disabled people, and the LGBTQ+ community play significant roles in shaping the direction of Spoutible. We believe that diversity is key to building a platform that serves all of our users, regardless of their background or identity.
We recognize that women are underrepresented in technology jobs, with only 26.7% of the workforce being female, despite comprising 50.52% of the US population. To combat this issue, we have set a goal of having at least 40% of our team made up of women. We believe that having a diverse team will help us to build a more inclusive platform that better serves our users.
I use this platform as an inspiration for choosing a daily picture theme. Every day a different “theme” is presented to the 2768 followers of the Daily Picture Theme page. We all try to choose a photo that best fits the theme. Today the theme was #Candle which was an easy one for me. I found several photos to post.
Signal
Why does every scandal receive the suffix “GATE”? We now have SignalGATE. This is just another in the clown cybertruck of misfits that occupy the administration. However I want to be kept in the loop so please add me to the next battle planning chat.

Photos
It was my goal to update this website on every week. I missed a few weeks so I’ll try to catch up. Our new kittens have provided another opportunity for photography. Today is #Caturday, they get center stage.

I stated in the first paragraph that I was an active user of social media. Ko-Fi is one of the platforms I use to beg for donations. However it is also a great Micro-blogging site. I’ve not used it in that context but that is going to change. The other day I noticed a few signs of spring. The emergence of shoots from a Colchicum autumnale bulb I planted last September. It is a small event, something I might add a diary entry. However I wanted to share a photo of the bulb since they are not common. Ko-Fi was the right tool. This is a link to the post.

Yeah, -gate is overused. Though yesterday, I did hear someone call this latest -gate, “whiskey leaks”. That made me smile.
