Weekend

Everyday is Saturday when you are retired. It rained last night but the skies were clear in the morning, temperatures in the mid-fifties. Small Hip Hop class this morning, Jody (instructor) and Crystal and me. Karen checked in remotely via phone. I still manage to screw up some simple footwork.

The Green Center was open today and I got rid of some Christmas mugs, blue martini glasses and an ancient slide projector.

The library hosted an ice cream social which gave me an opportunity to see some of the renovations to the library basement, also the chance to sit in the new outdoor bench that the library got by taking recycled plastic film products (including salt bags).

On the way back home I saw some activity at the former Friendship Manor. The new owners were busy tossing out trash and old rugs, They have plans to fix it up as a Bed and Breakfast or Tavern. Maybe we can capture some of the glory that used to be New Ipswich in its heyday.

Today’s Photos

I took a few photos at the library and some of the butterfies visiting my Sweet William blossoms.

Twelve Years Ago – June 15, 2012 (Friday)

Twelve years ago we visited Ginny’s family on Vancouver Island. These are more photos from that trip.
