TGIF Edition

Thunderstorms predicted for today but as of 17:30 we have nothing, just a sprinkle here and there. I had a new refrigerator delivered today. The 29 year old Whirlpool was still working but the seal was gone and bottom was rusting out. I got nervous about the new one. At first the outside of the top of the unit got cold while the interior remained at room temperature. It seemed to defy all the rules of thermodynamics. Google assured me that it takes 24 hours for the temperature to stabllize. I certainly hope so. They don’t make them like they used to. The original had more customization options, nicer glass shelves and a light in the freezer compartment. I seriously doubt that this will last 29 years,. but neither will I.

I had another chance to purge some of the old food from our old refrigerator, I put out the last hot dog of unknown vintage for the crows. They seemed appreciative. A photo of the interior shows how boring this unit is. Something you might expect to see in a studio apartment. I don’t think I’ll be able to overload it.
