Rainy Start
Cool and wet morning today. Last night I dreamed that I was in trouble for missing a number of days at work. In the dream it dawned on me that I was retired and didn’t need to be there. Most unpleasant dream. I woke up feeling tired. Thankfully the day improved after that.
Clutter
Supposedly a cluttered desk is a sign of intelligence. I must be a genius, but I couldn’t find the three holed punch for song sheets and the extra camera battery. Even worse was I discovered a bill from April that i did not pay. I also spend the morning peeling off magnets from the refrigerator in preparation for its replacement. Some of the magnets had melded into the door glued with food residue. I need to be a bit more judicious in which ones I put on the new refrigerator.
Temple Town Hall Music Jam
It is always a treat to play tunes at the Temple Town Hall. One of the photos I took of Peggy with her buddies had a distracting person in the foreground so for the first time I employed an AI tool to “remove” him. It did a decent job but introduced a book written in the weird language that AI creates, Can you spot the photo?
Five Years Ago – June 9, 2019
My cousin Chris and his wife Lisa visited with my mother on June 8, 2019. On June 9th I played music at a church service in Gardner, MA. Chris and Lisa attended the service and afterwards we had a nice lunch at the Old Mill Restaurant in Westminster, MA. Lisa was a force of nature and I miss her, the photos only hint of her personality.
