Looking Back to October 28, 2017

The Green Center is always a fun place to visit, but around Halloween it is especially interesting. At that time there are plenty of costumes and Halloween fare available and it is not unusual to see the patrons and staff wearing costumes. I’ll always associate Halloween with the late Ethel Frates, a fellow volunteer worker. She would arrive in some costume that she created from Green Center items. I featured her photo taken on Halloween 2015 for this postings.

On this day six years ago when we working at the Green Center we all arrived in costume. Sadly Ethel succumbed to cancer earlier that year, but her presence was still felt. Note that one of her hats is featured in the photos below.

Have a happy Halloween this year and don’t overdo it on the candy, Subscribe to find out what happened on other days.
