The Temple Harvest Fair was held on Sunday, September 25th. It rained in the morning and it rained in the afternoon but there was a window of opportunity for the townsfolk to listen to the Temple Band, have a chicken dinner and socialize.

Pie Eating Contest
This was a new event for the fair. It almost turned into a disaster when one participant felt a little queasy.
They made it messier by topping off the pies with whipped cream. One participant thought this was a great idea.
Town Scales
Back in the day all the towns had scales for weighing carts and animals. Most are gone by now. Temple rebuilt their scales and it was operational in time for the fair.
Old Friends
The Temple Fair is small and intimate, confined to the town green, a chance to get together with old friends and listen to some music, buy some crafts and have lunch. It ended a bit early when the rains came.
