Lynda Swenson and I visited the Stokes Garden (Bobolink Farm) as part of the Garden Conservancy Open Days in June of 2010. Lillian and Don Stokes best-selling authors of 35 Stokes Field Guides, including the Stokes Field Guide to the Birds of North America. They designed the gardens to be a sanctuary for birds. Lillian Stokes started a birding blog in 2006 featuring photos taken on their property.
