Artists James Aponovich and Elizabeth Johansson have a home and garden in Peterborough that matches their passion for Italian culture. Their home was featured in the April 19, 2010 issue of New Hampshire Home. Lynda Swenson and I visited their garden in June of 2010 as part of the Garden Conservancy Open Days tour.

Moonlight Garden

Moonlight gardens ideally would feature night blooming varieties. The Aponovich gardens made use of light colored gravel and bold geometric shapes. I imagine this took a lot of maintenance to keep out weeds.
