Søren is a troll created by Danish artist Thomas Dambo who is known for using recycled wood to create large, ambitious sculptures. The Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens has five of his troll sculptures. Each Troll represents an aspect or feature of trees. Søren represents branches which are always dancing.

Søren is a very curious troll; his head is always turning and twisting, searching for places ever higher. He dreams about drifting around on a cloud in the sky, and when the wind is blowing, he loves to celebrate with a dance.

Next Post – Lilja

I followed the pathways through the woods to see all 5 of the trolls. I feature Lilja next, she is the only child troll in the installation.
