Solved in Four

Good morning readers, after I solved Wordle 544 in four steps, I looked through the photo archives searching for an image that featured four objects or people. On April 24, 2022, I visited the Amazing Flower Farm in New Ipswich, NH to document volunteers replacing the plastic sheeting of one of the greenhouses. It was a job that needed to performed on a windless day, since the sheeting would make an ideal sail with even a slight breeze.

This is a two step operation. Two layers of plastic cover the greenhouse. Air is pumped between them to add some rigidity to prevent the plastic from whipping around and tearing. In this photo four volunteers attach metal braces which seal the layers prior to inflation. I’ve posted additional photos from this day which can be seen here.

My Number Project (It’s Based on Statistics)

Wordle 544 - Four Volunteers 1
Wordle Stats

There are six chances of solving Wordle puzzles. As you can see in the statistics, I solve most games in four steps. Four steps is the average for all the New York Times players. My self-imposed goal is to find a daily photo that features one to six objects or people to match my score and add a few pithy comments about when, where and why it was taken.

This website is underutilized. I pay to keep it in operation but grow lazy about adding content. My life may be strange but it also a bit boring. It is not filled with day to day excitement. Wordle is one of the highlights. Sweaty hands poised over the keyboard as I realize I have no letters and I am on step 5. This project might spur me onwards to offer more content. Twitter is dead, might as well spend some time here. See you tomorrow.
