Thoughts and Prayers
It happened again in America. Another mass shooting, another search for a motive, another video of grieving family members. California Governor Newsom asks the question “What the hell’s going on in the United States of America?”. We don’t need “Thoughts and Prayers” we need “Actions and Answers”. We might as well leave that flag at half-staff till something is done.
"What the hell's going on in the United States of America? What the hell's wrong with us? And when are we going to come to grips with this? When are going to put down our arms, literally and figuratively?" California Gov. Newsom says about the San Jose shooting. pic.twitter.com/QMOX45yeF9

Mass Shooting Memorial
In October 2019. the United Church of Jaffrey, NH displayed 286 white crosses to represent lives lost in mass shootings for that year. However the church acknowledged that the number would keep growing. A mass shooting is defined as one with at least 4 victims. There would not be enough room on the lawn if single deaths from gun violence were included. Governor Newsom is correct in asking “What the hell’s wrong with us?”.
