Happy Holidays (all of them) from the Green Center
It has been a great year at the Green Center and I want to wish our patrons and fellow volunteers a very Merry Christmas. I’d like to thank the patron that brought us some delicious cookies last Saturday. The ones I had were delicious

The Green Center has everything anyone would need for Christmas decorations.
The Green Center has items that can help with medical problems. For some reason these tend to stay in our inventory.
It was a great week for donations of vintage games including a very nice bingo set.
Sears has filed for bankruptcy which makes me sad because I remember going to the store in Stamford, CT with my dad to buy tools. Their consumer electronics brand was Silvertone which was founded in 1915. The Center received a tube guitar amplifier which I would guess dates from the 1950s. Sadly the volume controls only go to “10”.
In our old technology section we now have a video surveillance camera.

And for the dog owner there is this item.

One might say we have everything but the kitchen sink. However that would be incorrect, we do have the kitchen sink.
