The NeWest Mall has a new sign and a new tenant. Paul and Carolyn Boynton have opened the Turnpike Crossing Restaurant serving breakfast from 7 to 11 and lunch from 11 – 3.
The restaurant is decorated with a number of railroad signs and photos reflecting Paul’s interest in trains. He intends to have a running model railroad running along the walls and over the dining area.
I ordered the lunch special, a homemade meatball sub with chips and soft drink for only $7. It was delicious. This is a copy of the current menu. It is so nice to have a local restaurant again.
Stop by and say hello to Paul & Carolyn
